Thanks, everyone, his name is Lucky, btw, LOL. Its just seemed to fit him so well.
Ladies that had the kitties that swallowed thread, thanks for posting that. It's not something you really think about until it happens, is it? And then its too late. I've actually had to start putting all the thread away, can't leave any on the sewing machine thats uncovered, so I "think" I've got it all, I'm going to double check now, though, you've got me worried! We had a cat when I was litle that had got a piece of yarn wrapped around its toe, and it had cut down into its skin,etc. and we had to take it to the vet. They yarn was there for maybe a half day or so, and she had to get it cut out and have stitches! So, I can just imagine what thread could do to the insides of one. Thanks for the reminder, although I'm sad to hear you to have go through all that. |
