I like to use something similar for the backing on quilts I know kids will be throwing on the floor, or yard, or beach or .....................

Applique a few cute items and you've got an ideal outdoor tablecloth

Hmmmm..... I may have to check it out this week. Don't have a Lowe's in town, it's about 14 miles away but have a Home Depot here

Ace or any other hardware store would have drop cloths----------as well as a variety of paint stores-----------and even WallyWorld most likely.

Wow. I am always looking for inexpensive craft ideas for my co-workers for Christmas. personalized tote bags. I will go to Lowe's. Thank you.

The shrinkage could be a great benefit. I have a friend who made a canvas cover for her ironing table, she didn't prewash it, but once it was on she spritzed it with water. It shrunk as it dried, and now you can bounce a quarter off that board.

I have purchased the huge sized drop cloth and made slipcovers for my daughter's sofa and two chairs!! She has gotten many compliments on our ingenuity!! The fabric is wonderful and the pricing is unbelievable!!
