It is good that your DH is doing so well. I always have some type of handpiecing or embroidery work to carry with me. I started doing that several years back because I seemed to always be waiting somewhere on something or someone.

Could you do a small handpiecing project?

All our best wishes to you and your husband. Do go to the nearest Joann's and get a small project to work on. It will help the time go by more quickly, and your husband will see how relaxed and happy you are and it will make him feel better.too.

Hope that your hubby is up and around very soon. Tell you what, I will run in my sewing room and sew a few seams for you.....can you hear the machine humming?????
Best wishes to you both!

While I keep you in my prayers, you could run to the nearest grocery store and buy a tablet to doodle new ideas on.

I am adding your husband to my prayers

We are almost 3 hrs. from home, so running home for a quick session at the sewing machine isn't an option. So I just come on this board and see all the wonderful quilts and get new ideas. You fellow quilters have been a lifesaver to me!

If he is going to be in the hospital for awhile perhaps you could sign up at a LQS for a project?
I am happy he is doing well!

Thank you so much everyone! With all the thoughts and prayers headed his way, he will be well soon. I will be making a mad dash home this week to check on things and do some bill paying, so maybe will have time to find something to bring with me. I have always wanted to learn how to crochet, but have never had a teacher. Maybe it's time to find a teaching book! At least that will be easy to haul around with me.

Love to all of you!
