Oh I know there are a ton of other places, but Zooks is there! I gave Kitchen Kettle as a point of reference. (And it is neat to see)

Have a great time. I love Lancaster!!!

Watch for the Buggy's!! Over the hills you can't see them until your on them. Have fun.

I went to Millers Smorgasboard(sp?) and they had good food, and an BEAUTIFUL quilt shop. It doesn't have fabric that I can remember, but the quality of the quilts they have their is awesome, they also have these wooden boxes inlaid with different color woods in quilt patterns. I met the lady that made them...amazing.
Oh yeah, the towns roll up the sidewalks around 5 or dark depending. Nothing in true amish areas is open on Sundays. Bring a cooler to bring home amish butter - you'll be glad you did. |
Sewmary, how right you are! Maybe we got lost together! LOL
My friend & I drove the 7 hrs from Canada last Oct. & had a blast, even when we did venture off the main roads! We're planning a return trip next year! Maureen |
I second the recommendation to The Country Store. Great fabric and prices. Not sure if I'm going back in a couple of weeks or just ordering what I need to have it waiting for me when I get home from vacation. Also try Bitty Kinna's - just down the block from Country Store and Zooks. Seems to me more contemporary type fabrics but good quality and very reasonably priced.

We are going for three days in july! Told my mom we have to hit up least one fabric store!

I love Lancaster. I will be up there shopping for fabric on the 2nd. Another nice shop is Dutchland Quilt Patch, it is just down the road from Miller's Smorgasborg.
