I think we need the name of it and any other info like if it is in a book so we can go look for it.

One way to make a scrappy quilt is to take a magazine page and use that for your base. You can lay scraps onto the paper and sew one by one.

When the page is full of sewn on scraps, you can embroider on it!

When you have many pages of sewn scraps, lay them all out to design your quilt top, then sew them together into rows. At this point, the paper will come off very easily - if not you can wash it off.

This method is very old! Be careful to clean your machine often - the paper will be all over!

I've made a couple of quilts using scrap fabric but I've only just used small blocks with no real pattern. Could some one tell me more about this Magazine Page quilt, and how to do it. I think I would like to try this after I finish my Winnie the Pooh quilt.

This is the quilt I made out of scraps. My friend's little brother, Shem was helping me show it off. I have a similar one in the making, Top is done, just need a back and batting.
