I have tried several and the ones I like best are the Fons and Porter Rag Quilt scissors. They are small and very, very sharp.

If you have an Accuquilt GO cutter, there is a die for cutting rag quilt squares, with all the snips pre snipped!

[QUOTE=SherriB;6840323]I use Heritage Rag quilt scissors. They make cutting so easy.[URL="http://www.amazon.com/Heritage-Cutlery-2-Inch-Spring-Quilting/dp/B0008F6R9U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1407765060&sr=8-3&keywords=rag+quilt+scissors"]

These are the rag scissors I use, also. They may seem pricey but they are well worth the money.

I have the accuquilt die. Ihave had some problems with the pre cut edge. Sometimes one will slip and get caught underneath or it gets sewn into the seam.anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Ispent alot of time ripping seams apart.

I have the die also, but haven't used it yet. I think you just have to be very careful when sewing to make sure all the strips are facing away from the needle area. I think (but again, no experience yet) that not having to cut a million times will be easier for me than trying to keep strips from getting caught. Ask me again after I actually use it and have to pick out a bunch of seams. lol

I straighten out the fringe cuts when layering the batting inside. If one gets caught in the seam I just snip it. It doesn't show at all when the quilt is washed and the snips get all fluffy.
