People also put buttons and doo-dads on baby quilts. NO, NO, NO. I lost a great uncle due to a choking hazard when he was 3.

Thanks - I knew about buttons and the monofilament thread.
Didn't think about the threads coming off for babies. Also, loosely knitted or crochet afghans could be a problem. |
I knew of this, so never make rag quilts for babies. For baby quilts, I never use monofilament thread or any kind of buttons or those small craft decorations that are ironed onto the quilt.
