I have used the Creative Grids ruler and made this quilt - this ruler makes a 16 inch block. It works great.

Thanks for all the great info. I think p/ping is the way to go. Beautiful quilts all. Misty's Mom; you said you used your Accuquilt Go, can you tell me the name of the die you used? I have looked and can't find it. I have the Baby Go; would that be big enough? Thanks again.

Try this link https://www.accuquilt.com/shop/go-st...t-pattern.html
they have 3 different patterns. This is one I used. |
Eleanor Burns has a great pattern using rulers. I've made a couple of quilts and a table runner without any problems. The rulers and templates she uses make each piece fit together without paperpiecing

SAS (on the left) was one of the first quilts I made. I must have been naive. I didn't know it was supposed to be difficult so it wasn't. This was made before rotary cutters and techniques. Made with templates, hand pieced and hand quilted.

SAS is on my bucket list. I will paper piece it. Here is a good site that has been linked here on the QB several times. Has diagrams of layouts and free download for the PP pattern.
