Beautiful quilt!

So glad you rescued it from the "dark". Can't believe it wasn't used before you rescued it. Very breath taking :) The first pattern that came to my mind is feathered star as well, but it is a little different.

It doesnt look like flying geese in the sashing to me. It looks like a square with a hst on each side, thus the no point
