Does anyone use the Red Snappers for attching quilts to their leaders of the long arm table. They look pretty interesting but before I invest I would like the pro's and con's from those who have used them.

Thank you

Lol, and I thought this was about fish. I love red snappers - to eat!

I did too!

I have them, they work great. The only drawback to them is that someone with arthritic hands may not be able to use them. They take some push to get snapped on.:)

Hunt up the thread from a week or two ago for more info.

Saw them "dance" at a quilt show - lol. They looked fantastic.

I have them and love them. I can load a quilt in no time and takes a second to unload. They are a little hard to snap
on at first but they do loosen up with use.

My exact thoughts. They are fast.

She would never find that thread... if this is the one you're talking about. In my haste I spelled Snapper wrong..

Here's the link though!

My other mother (She is my BFF's mom) has them & loves them! I'm going to get myself some as well for me and my mom (my real mom)

Funny side note:
I have spent 4 years at my quilt guild trying to convince people that my mom is really my mom and that Carol is my other mother.

Since you are the creator of that thread, you have the ability to change the title. Changing it would allow people to find that subject in a search. :-)

I can't change it now... I must have missed the window of opportunity... Sorry

thanks to everyone..I looked at the previous thread and it seems that they are a positive investment. If they do loosen up after time I think I will get them.

Thanks for everyones help/ideas

I jusst recently bought Clip N Seals from Amazon. I think they are basically the same thing just not red. And they don't come with little screws or whatever it is that holds the red snapper sections together in one long piece. I bought the mondo pack clip n seal from amazon because they were cheaper and for no other reason.

I absolutely LOVE using them! No more pinning :)

thanks...I'll check out the amazon site

I've had them on my frame for about 4 months now and love them. They are a bit stiff at first, but do soften up. They work fantastic and loading and unloading is really fast.
