I agree with you Bella - the judges were obviously looking for traditional entries - this one tops the whole fair in my estimation!

It is very good. Sorry that you were "rejected". Last years County Fair did the same to most of the quilts entered. One "best" ribbon and that quilt was displayed in a hidden area behind a metal piece and not where the best of category was displayed. All the other entries got "thanks for coming" ribbons. No second, third or other type of ribbons. Because of this many of us did not enter this years fair and there were only a few entries.
