I like the blue much better, too. The lime green just didn't seem to go with the blocks.

I totally agree with the blue instead of the lime green. Will be a beautiful quilt.
The blue looks really great!
Much better!!!!
Blue is much better. Do you have enough of the purple for cornerstones? Please share pics of the completed quilt!
Great color for your sashing I like it and I think you do to.
I like this better, it picks up the blue in the blocks, the green overshadowed it.
I like the blue much better. It just makes the quilt look more "peaceful".
That's perfect!
looks better with the blue
The blocks are very well done. I like the blue better as well.
I like the blue.
I like the blue and I agree with your family the green just doesn't do anything for your beautiful squares
The blue looks fantastic, it adds but doesn't detract from your beautiful blocks. It's a keeper.
Love the blue, green needs to be on quilt with some brighter blocks.
The blue looks great!
So much better than the green |
The blue would be my choice!
I would try a soft yellow.
Maybe my my monitor is off. To me, the aqua in the sashing and the green in the blocks - thhe blocks are very nicely done - are just different enough to be annoying. Altthogh thiis choice is a lot less jarring than the original chartreuse.
Perhaps try something with the coloor of the flowers in the print that is in the blocks - peach? |
The blue goes much better. You already know that though. Sometimes you just need to be able to look at something from a different perspective. Nice work on the blocks.
While I liked the green, I love the blue!
Goes alot better you can actually see the Blocks now with out the Green neon fabric... Love the Blue...
Very pretty and nice improvement. Thanks for sharing!
Go with the blue. I love it.
I vote for the blue sashing.
The blue sashing looks much better!
I like the blue as it pulls the blue out of the print in the blocks. Very nice quilt by the way.
the 2nd choice is better... is better what you really want?
I think I would try something that, if right would make your beautiful blocks do all of the above suggestions and more.. confusing isn't it? You will find the best..and if blue print is best..go for it:) |
Iam a blue vote!!! Love the look!
Nice choice. I like it much better.
blue makes me feel happy
I like the blue. Gives it a nostalgic feel, which goes perfectly with your blocks.
The blue is nice, but I'd personally want to wake it up a bit. Try using your lime green as a flange (narrow folded border along the outer edge. Or maybe make cornerstone pieced blocks with some green. If neither of those does it for you, think about using the green as binding. Or use the green as smaller accents all 3 places.

The blue is much easier on the eye than the lime green. It gives the blocks a true vintage feel as well.
That's the right answer.
blue is perfect!!!

I like the blue better as well. Not to completely throw you off but have you considered a pale pink? The same pale pink that is in blue print in the blocks? A solid will give the quilt a more modern appearance.
I like the blue, it makes the eyes focus more on the lovely blocks.
I really like the blue. It is a good choice. Your quilt will be lovely!
