Costco carries a few machines now and their return policy is the best anywhere. If you don't want to keep it, they don't even care why, just give you your money back. They are the only ones I know who give 100% back on computers. We bought 2 and struggled with them for over a month before taking them back.

Years ago I returned a Kenmore sewing machine to Sears but I was UNHAPPY with it. It felt great to be rid of that "lemon" and then bought a GREAT machine from www.allbrands.com.

I have a 1968 kenmore still runs like a charm, best accurate 1/4 inch seam allowance ever! :)

I have an old Kenmore too and feel the same way. It will sew through layers so much
easier than my newer machines.
