Rice bags remind me of when after I had breast cancer my doctor told to make breast forms out of rice bags and yes they did have silicone breast forms.I got rid of him as a doctor. He had some very strange ideas.

For the bags do you use cracked corn or whole corn? or does it matter?I just called a feed store and they asked which one I wanted to quote me a price

I don't know if it matters or not - but mine is whole corn - it was quite "dirty" when I bought more to make additional bags - so had to sift out the dirt, etc. with a kitchen strainer - might have been harder to do with cracked corn.

Rice bags are wonderful for many reasons and have many uses. If you can't sew or don't have the time and would like to have a rice bag (or two) of your own, visit my website at ricebagsbytrish.com. I would be happy to custom make a bag for your.

The feed store. I buy the 50 lb bag of hullled wheat kernels for $15.. Never thought about these heat bags -
Christmas warmers for all!
