i usually put the borders on the bottom to keep them from stretching. isn't it a hoot how different methods work for some quilters but create disaster for others?

i also never try to measure my borders precisely. i always make them extra long and then trim to size after they're stitched on. it adds to my scraps bin and i don't end up tearing my hair out. (at my age, i'm afraid it wouldn't grow back! :lol: )

Alrighty, take a look at your border where you sewed them across and they meet at the sides. If you take the top border where it joins with the side border and sort of wiggle it over the side does any of the waviness disappear? Trying to visualize!! Just starting my coffee :lol:
