i was working on my quilting fairy godmother the other night. I had to rip numerous seams because I did stupid things like sew the wrong color on. Used too small of a piece of fabric. That is why you shouldn't sew until 2:00 AM
|
Oh gosh, that is me too. I was ironing my latest "creation" and realized there were three half square triangle blocks in various places turned wrong!! It took a long time to rip and resew. Oy.

Yep, me too. I spent some quality time with my seam ripper last night "unsewing" a purse lining that I had put on the wrong side. As the saying goes..."As you sew, so shall you rip" :-)

Some times I spend way too much time ripping because of trying to hurry.

Thank God thier are some mistakes we can FIX!!!!!!

Yep. My first ten-minute block only took two hours. But after a while, it really does take only ten minutes. Stick with it and it will be great fun.

Yep! That was my FMQ yesterday. Ripped out everything I sewed AT LEAST TWICE! Grrrrr!!!
|
I did that, too. I would have to go back to the computer and check again for the instructions. I finally got one done and put it up and haven't touched it since. I plan to keep trying though.
