Yep, I use my battery operated neck trimmer. Cost under $10. Works like a charm.

(This is for the lady who didn't have enough hands for her trimmer and her fabric.)

My trimmer has an on/off button so don't have to hold it down. I use the hand I'm holding the trimmer in to stabilize the fabric while I lift the other side with my other hand. Easy. I do hold the trimmer down on the fabric as I'm trimming too.
