Good. I am hoping. We really want to be able to compare some of the Mid Arms.

I just know we have been told by two of the vendors from Long Beach, they were not allowed to show at the Ontario show, because their were already vendors with similar products.

We talked to one of the Mid arm vendors last year at Long Beach and she is the one that told us she is not permitted because their is already a vendor their with Mid arms.

Don't know who told you that, but they have always had several different mid arms and long arms there. I love all the vendors, am not excited by the "art quilts" at all, I am a traditionalist I guess. I like quilts that look like quilts. I've been there every year, live only about 40 minutes away. I will be there on Friday this year, going with friends from class. We usually white glove, but are taking this year off. :)
We really should figure out a way to meet up, maybe next year we can set up a day and place in the building. I know, we should make up a logo and print it out and wear it on our shirts so we know we are from the Quilting Board, hey, next year lets all do it!

One of the vendors that was selling only mid arms at the Long Beach show, that had tried to get in to Ontario. We also hear it from one of the vendors selling batting.

Santa Clara is only about a two and a half hour drive for you, so see you in October?

I think that's a great idea. Ahead of time we should coordinate a meeting place for each day of the show that more than one of us is going to be there and meet up for lunch or snack or something. I usually go both Friday and Saturday. It is really hard on me right now, I want to go so badly!!!!

I agree - I would like to meet my new web friends. I usually go on Sunday, and heard a rumor that this year a lot of the vendors will be having sales on Sunday.

It isn't just a rumor, I got an email from the show people stating that sales would be on Sunday. There are fewer hours on Sunday too.

I wish I could attend this show. It's not possible this year, too much going on right now.

I live in Roseville and go to the one in Santa Clara every year--it is huge--took me 2 days to see everything!!

I know, I have been to that one a long time ago when we lived in Livermore. We went to Long Beach in July for the day and needed more time. This time we are going to Ontario tomorrow morning and come back Saturday, we are staying right at the convention center. It will be nice to be able to take our time and go back to things a second time.
