I have the Fiskars 45mm and 65mm with the gray and orange handles and parts...thought I would try their "new" purple ergonomic. I hate that one and would gladly give it away as I keep my old tried and true gray and orange Fiskars...

PS...when the blade gets too dull for fabric, I use it for scrapbooking and trimming photos.

had a fiskers one and decided to upgrade to a ofla one and I wouldn't go back to the fiskers one now.
I feel the same way, I don't like the ones you have to squeeze though, don't know why, it just an indiviual thing.
I just recently purchased 2 ofla. Hancock's had a 50% sale a while back on all quilting notions and boy did we stock up. I won't need blades for a very long time.

I have olfa too but I still feel it is a personal choice as my best friend and I both have wonder beginner quilting book guides but i perfer the better homes and garden she love the Fons and Poter but we both are happy and think we both have the best LOL. So again you will always have someone tell you what is the best lol but if your happy with what you have stay with it really why spend money if your happy lol unless its on fabric

My first cutter was bought at a quilt show. It has the handle out to the side with a plastic cover that keeps moving around and coming off.
It worked well for awhile but now it is useless.
I use whatever is on sale at Joann's and they all work well. Im using a Fiskers now.

I started out using a Fiskars, which I liked and had no problems using. My kids gave me Olfa ones in 2 sizes, the smallest one and the 60mm. I use them all. I put a pinking blade in the Fiskars, though I confess I don't use it too much. I say use what you got if you like it.

I have a lot of cutters, but that's my favorite, too. I will sometimes use an Olfa 28mm for delicate work, and have never been able to justify the added expense of a 60mm.

I have been using the same old Fiskars for the last 20 years (65) but lately have not been able to find blades for it. Wal Mart use to be the only place that carried them and all the have now are the 45 and 60's.
