I was in the quilt shop this last week and ran into a lady that just had to tell me what her favorite rotary cutter was ...I don't remember now what she said it was but I use a fiscar 45mm which she proceded to tell me was not a good one but I have used it for years and it works good if you ask me but I have never used any other ones so I really don't have anything to compare it to whats your favorite and why?....

I use the first 1 I happen to pick up out of my pile. I like the one that fits my hand the best. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I would think the answer would be a little bit different for everyone.

I don't own it, but my favorite would be the Olfa ergonomic. BUT... my standard ol' straight Olfa has lasted me for nearly 20 years. When it dies (although I don't know why it would), I will get the ergonomic one. It has a squeeze handle.

oh, and your Fiskars cutter is just fine!

I have 2 of them (can't live without them) I have the 60 and 45mm. I use the 45mm more.

If it works good for you than stick with it I love what i use don't change what works lol. We all have a favorite its just what you are used to

I had a fiskers one and decided to upgrade to a ofla one and I wouldn't go back to the fiskers one now. I really like the ofla one and couldn't believe the difference in the two. The ofla one fits the hand much better and just cuts better. If you check on ebay you can get one with several replacement blades cheap. I paid less for mine with 10 extra blades than what just the cutter cost at joanns.

I have a Fiskars 45mm and it works just fine for me.
Like what was said before...you use what you like.
It's sort of like cars. Some like Fords, others like Chevy's.
You buy what you like and stick with it.

I have both fiskars and olfa cutters, and they are both good for me. I do appreciate my squeeze handled one the most.Also the 45mm size is good for me. :D :D Pam W.

well you are all so right if it aint broke don't fix it is kind of the philosophy I tend to stick with....I just replaced the blades and that in it's self makes a world of difference I probably don't change my blades as often as I should....haha
