How do you keep the rotary blades sharp? I tried the sharpener thingies but doesnt seem to work for me. I use lots of blades when I am quilting and they get expensive.

Try cutting tinfoil with them. It works for me.

Go to houseofhanson.com, you can get blades VERY reasonable there.

When they get a little dull, I flip the blade and get a little more wear out of them. Then I just throw away and put a new one. Sharpening has never worked for me.

Here is a link for blades online if that will help. Good prices.

I bought a huge lot of them on Ebay - all olfa blades. I want to say I got 100 blades for like $50 or so - a few friends of mine and I went in on the purchase :)
