Hi! You may want to try using a green scrubber (like you'd use on dishes) on your rotary mat. Just rub it on the mat -- it should clean up your mat. Cheryl

I had the same thing happen cutting batting on my mat . Well the kitchen scrubber didn't help . Tried a lint roller , helped a little . Had to pick , pick , pick  I think I need a different mat ! Annie

I use a simply body scrubber, like the kind you get at WalMart for $1. I use it after every cutting session and anytime it looks like the threads are beginning to stick to my mat. I've used this for years and now all my friends have one to use with their mats. It works wonderfully!

However, if the grooves in your mat are too deep, simply flip the mat over and use the back. It's like having a brand new cutting mat all over again! :D

I use packing tape or Duck Tape, by wrapping it around my hand and a scrubbing motion.
