You can use a helicoil..it's a tiny little thing that is specifically made to repair the stripped threads on little screws..any good hardware store will have them..but you will need to bring your cutter in with you..(I would remove the blade)..but they are very cheap and work verk well.

It seems that I have to go over my fabric several times to cut it completely plus my blades get dule very fast compared to other people that I now.

Left handed here and arthritis in hand too. I tried a Martelli cutter and blade at a quilt show and couldn,t get my money out fast enough! They make their left handed cutter truly fot left handers - it fits so well. And the blades cut so easilt. Do not need a lot of pressure. This is one case where cost is worth it.

I had the same thing happen to me with Fiskars. I emailed them and in a week or two, I got a new rotary tool.

After I changed th blade, my RC was wobbley and wouldn't cut well. Took it apart, reversed that arched washer, put it back together again & it worked fine. Don't know if that's the fix but it worked for me.

Make sure the washer isn't turn the wrong way. I've had that problem before until I turned the washer over.

Good luck
