That's the same one I referenced upthread, but at a UK stockist. ;-)

I just looked. That is so nice.

I was checking to see if the shop had put up the ruler/cutter as I wanted to post the link ere. It wasn't but I noticed this other ruler on their site which I don't think I've seen before.

Seems like a less expensive option for those that have a hard time cutting straight with a rotary cutter along the side of the ruler.
With this ruler, it looks like the blade (while totally separate) can only travel in the groove.

NAYY but thought it might be of interest/use to someone else:

That one has been discontinued. Why a company would discontinue a really helpful product like that is beyond me  Many of us have problem cutting a straight line  and some of us (like me) have to cut fabric sitting down :-( and so to have a ruler like this would be a Godsend. A really poor decision to discontinue this item as far as I am concerned.

Couldn't work this thing for beans. Didn't like it and finally threw the thing away. It may be because I have to cut fabric sitting down, that it didn't work well, I don't know, but I surely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

There is a 27" one from SewEasy that's made in Australia (the links below are for reference/pictures only - read more after):

The Quilt Place in Rockledge Florida sells this same item.
I've asked them numerous times to put it on their website because so many people ask about the Fiskars. They were holding off because they didn't have boxes for shipping it - it's very long.

I just called and spoke to Maureen. She says they'll have it up in a few days on the website. The cost is $49.99 plus shipping.

Here's the link to the store if you want to order online (keep checking).

or you can call and order it over the phone.

I saw it when I visited the shop a few months ago.
It's a huge, busy shop, and all the ladies were using it at all the cutting tables.
It was very cool so we all bought one. I brought it home and put it in a safe place to use when I cleaned up my sewing tables.
I'll let you know how it's working whenever I find it again.

Hey, time to celebrate! This is just like the one Fiskars discontinued. I went to the site, but it isn't being advertised as yet. Will continue to visit the site to check. I am excited. Will definitely buy one when it comes online!
