I use a fan that I put away from me while sewing, no turbelence, but keeps me cool too.
|
I have a ceiling fan and a desk top fan. The desk top fan isn't always on, but when I have to put it on, I use the clip to put it on my ironing board facing me

Ceiling fans in all rooms.

My sewing room is over the garage and faces southeast. I use the central air, a ceiling fan and a stand alone fan. Yes I have some trouble with the air flow from the stand alone but I am forever hot (even in the winter) and I love my breeze.

I bought a small clip on fan and clip it to a shelf. It has 3 speeds and the lowest one works great for me. Cools me but doesn't blow anything around.

I use a free standing fan. Actually it is a table top fan based on like a big wind machine type fan they use for clearing smoke and stuff with the fire dept. Has a good motor and I put it in front of the window across the room to blow toward me. It used to sit on my cutting/sewing table but I got tired of fighting the wind.

I use ac but also have a little clip on fan that I use that clips onto my sewing table,I can move it around if need be.

I have a ceiling fan that runs almost always. When I get too hot, I have a small fan that sits under my sewing desk and blows on my legs. It can keep me pretty comfortable and no fabric or threads flying around!
