I agree--black is my first choice with dark green second. Don't care for gold or cream and think the blue batik is too much competition with the blocks.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the ideas. I was just needing another set of eyes as I had looked at the materials and just couldn't decide. Knew my QB family would set me straight.

love your blocks. I need to try this pattern. I myself see a navy blue for a sashing. I'm sure there is some hiding in your stash.just my humble opinion.
