In my opinion I don't like the green sashing. I would stick to the same neutral background colour. If your married to the idea of stars in the sashing I would make those in all in colours you used for the stars. Nice stars by the way..

I like the sashing..to me it frames the blocks and I even like the green:) stars are great, too..Try some different strips and see if you like them...

Another thought here----I think this sashing is great (not too light and not too dark) and the little stars are also good, but I would like to see you try a medium value star cornerstone---some color that is already in several of the blocks---maybe that rusty-red that is in the roof or the block on the left. If you cut a few more pieces of the star cornerstones in the cream that you already have and also in another color so that you can put up a little more of the quilt on design wall with the two (or more if you like) possibilities maybe you'll be able to visualize better. Just my 2¢ worth.

It's going to be lovely anyway you go.

Someone suggested setting the blocks on point----wouldn't that make the house block look like it's been through an earthquake? :p
