I've been doing strip quilts: how many variations can you come up with? Also doing 2.5" square in a triple Irish Chain. The scraps still reproduce somehow.

Have the fabrics 'spoken' to you yet? What era are they and what would that time have told you to do? Do you applique or piece? Some of the older quilt designs might have been used but with the flower designs you mention, I'm wondering about putting those into something such as Grandmother's Flower Garden or one of the butterfly quilts that were popular. Having scraps may be a blessing as each block can be different.
