this is one we call Sugar and Spice. Good if you have a lot of white or muslin scraps. We make it with really small pieces but you can adapt to any size.

Hi, I bought a trapezoid ruler and had not used it. Then, my son got married spur of the moment and I asked if they wanted a quilt. I had visions of making a pretty quilt with a color scheme to go with their home. She decided she wanted scrappy. Well, I used that trapezoid ruler and cut out peices from all my scraps. It is looking beautiful. I am not putting a sashing between the rows and it's very pretty. I could have had it done in about a month, but my hubby had a heart attack and it got put on a back burner. It is a queen size. I had some John Deere, motor oil, flowers, stripes, you name it--it's in there! Several people have seen it and thought it was very pretty!!
