I love it, I have also done scrappy bindings just because not enough fabric for planned binding & realized it does look great.

PS, as long as the cat approves that is what counts! LOL

I love the scrappy binding! Good choice.

Purrrrrrrfect!

I love the binding! The quilt is very nice, as well. I love the colors.

I love it! I think it turned out great. I'd never heard of a jelly roll in reference to quilting before but I was at Hancock's of Paducah yesterday and they had boxes and boxes of them. Very cool, I think- just wish they weren't so expensive because I think I'd really stock up on them :D

you definitely did the right thing...it looks great!!

Love it! I am finishing a jelly roll quilt in turquois and orange. Way out of my "comfort zone," and I love it. Will use this on my binding, too.

My quilt group did a string quilt. I made the binding. I took leftovers from the quilt itself and cut up lots and lots of bias strips and sewed them together - over 400 inches. None of the strips was wider than about 2-1/2". Once the strips were sewn together the binding itself was not bias. The quilt was gorgeous.

ABSOLUTELY the right decision! I love bindings done this way.
