This is just lovely! I would definitely add a border or two. What color do you want to highlight? From my cross stitch framing days we would use the third color you see when you turn away and look at the whole top - that should be one of the colors you include. I can't wait to see it complete! ~smile~

Great scrappy hunter's star..I do think that it needs a border or two to stop the action.

I would use a medium cream (not to light) for the small border and then a dark green for the outer border

I agree with all who would like to see a border and I especially like pegstar's suggestion. But the bottom line is."What do you want to do with the quilt? Where will you put it? What colors are already in that room?" When you know what color in the room that you want to complement or emphasize, you'll have a better idea of the color in the outer border.

Ooohhh, I like that! How pretty.

I think you can go lots of ways with this and it'll look great. I wonder what a thinnish dark red border and then a wider tan border would look like.
