Now the question is, border or no border???

I would use a narrow border to stop the movement and then another one wider. Love the way the blocks turned out. Sharonve

If this were mine, I personally would use two borders, the first being the size of the strips in your stars . Make that border a cream/ off white to balance that part out. The second border would be a red or a green to balance those colors out and draw your eye outward. If you had enough of it, take the red striped fabric and make the border from it if you chose red, and the green from the block next to that if you chose the green. Looks like its going to be a very comfy quilt.

Smart suggestions! I like the idea of two borders too, but how can you tell what is the dominant fabric? Would you just choose a neutral or a dark? I want to be sure to see this when it is finished. I really like the scrappy look.

I don't have any of the striped fabric. It was a swapped block. Good ideas, though.

If it is a large enough size for you, I would just bind it in a neutral gray/tan/black, etc. Unless there is a very specific color you are wanting to pull out of the quilt itself or if you have a favorite

It seems to need a border or two to finish it off. Lovely top.

This is really nice the way it turned out. I enjoy watching these block swaps but don't participate.

I would do a narrow stopping border plus at least one more.

I like it better without a border. Just bind in black or gray.

Cute top! I might see how a large fun black and white polka dot border would look.
