Gorgeous, I'd use a black border.

I love your quilt. As soon as I saw it, I said "OHHHHHHHHH"

I loved the colors in your quilt. My suggestion would be to use an inter boarder of black about an inch wide(1 1/2" cut size) a second boarder of the various colors in the body of the quilt and than a black outer boarder. I just do not like a quilt without a boarder but know that is personnal preferrance. to me the boarders frame the work of art and set it off.

This is one beautiful quilt!! Have you thought of a black border, followed by squares in the colors set on point, and then another black border followed by black binding?

I agree.
A medium single colour border (I'd use black), with one of the brights for binding.

I think black would work.

Add a solid black 4-6"border; this will frame your beautiful quilt and make it "pop". Adding more colors to the border would detract from your quilt, I think. You might want to "audition" your border to see which size looks best. Good luck.

I'd put a border around the same size as your main strip and then alternate some of your colors in 2" widths and various lengths and then add another black narrow border and bind it in the black. I've done several string quilts and really enjoy making them. Your quilts is outstanding!! What a great way to use up some of the scraps and get a wonderful quilt in the process.
