GORGEOUS QUILT !!!

I think I would do the border primarily black at least but whatever you choose it will be right. The choices you have made on this quilt already are gorgeous. Just audition for a few days on each choice if you can. See how they each strike you when leave and re-enter the room for a few days.

I thought this also, maybe make a pieced binding.

Try several different varieties of borders, and audition them, before committing to one. Love double and triple borders, adds a look of strength and stability to scrappy quilts, in my view.

I agree with this- take one or two colors out of the quilt with a little black or dark grey. It is so amazing how three dimensional it looks. It is a very nice quilt, thanks for sharing.

I'd use a black three inch border. It would really pop the colors.

Oh, yes, I think a black border is all that is needed to frame this gorgeous quilt.

Did you have to be careful as to how you placed the color strips to get the 3D effect or does it just work out? This quilt was love at first sight for me. Thanks!

I would use black so nothing distracts from the beautiful top.

I like the black border idea - it would make the colors pop.

I don't know what to use for the border but that is just
gorgeous.

I personally would look for a color in the blocks which shows the least and I would do a two inch border in that color or a color that is not too close to the border that would be striking.
