scraps of fabric
I read a post a day or so ago. What do you do with your scraps, so I thought about it.
Some times I use them in sewing pictures on fabric like sun bonnet sue & sam, and angles. My new thing, I am thinking about rag rugs, went library got a few books. I going to try this, you can wrap fabric on cord, braid or tie fabric rugs. Also make bowls, bowls with lids, heart shaped rugs, oval, rectangle, etc. Has anyone tried this? |
There has been several discussions about the cord wrapped baskets. There is even a tutorial here on QB from one of our members. http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...c-t143655.html

Wish me luck - When I finished my quilt I plan to start a rag rug, if I have enough or a chair cushion.
Or at least a pot holder. |
