However I have done that, and never did find where the silly screw was from. good luck finding where it belongs. |
If you're like me, the place for the screw will show up at a critical time when you need the machine the most. I've
had things like that happen and I hate that. |
My Janome has a thumb screw on it under the bed....I'm going to run up and see what it is exactly. I'll keep you updated, unless you hear from someone else first.

Sorry, Hosta....this is not a thumb screw. I thought the stitch balance adjustment thingy was a thumb screw. Sorry again. Good luck, but sounds like you have tons of advice!

Sorry that screw is keeping you on pins and needles.
When I have something metal like screws that come from the ether, I put them on a big Fons and Porter magnetic needle holder. I bought it just for that purpose. Sometimes in the course of sewing I change feet or have to put on a walking foot, clean out the race, whatever and need the tool for that task. I put these things on that magnetic holder. When I am done I have all my accessories and when at last the mystery item finds a home I know where to find the thing. Hope this helps - Cindy |
