Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who does things like that. That's one thing (out of many) that I like about this site. I've found out that other quilters make the same mistakes as I do - makes me feel more "normal" I guess.

I made a mistake on one plate of a dresden plate quilt that I gave one daughter for Christmas, I'm wondering if she will find it. I used the material wrong side up, and didn't catch the mistake until too late, I thought heck with it and finished it any way.

Thank You for my morning "chuckle" not making fun just know that I've done that too! Done the same thing with a block, seemed like I just couldn't get it from the ironing board to the sewing machine and sew the right seam. I think most of us has done that and i a tatoo helps let me know I might have to get my very first one! Hope you have a great day! ;-)
