Secret santa
 

I'm putting this here for now, just so people can be aware of this starting.

Ladies, start your sleighs!
Secret Santa will be commencing in just a short time.
Get your little gadgets out that you've been saving all year for so you can whisk them away to far and near places for the holiday.
Remember...it's just a small gift (not to exceed $20 and 4 fat quarters.)

This is just an FYI for you all to get ready.

Should be a fun time this year. We have alot of new people on the board, along with the "oldies, but goodies" who are just itching to join in the fun.

Wow, this is so early. I have hardly even thought about Christmas (except for the fact that I have grandbaby #3 due Christmas Eve)

This is open to anyone.
Rules are really simple and to the point.
I'll be posting the rules and sign-ups in about a week.

I know it's early, but it's alot of organization and I usually keep the sign-ups for a few weeks so everyone has a chance to sign up. Once names are distributed, you will have approximately a month to shop and get your packages in the mail. Due to holiday mail traffic, sometimes it can take a bit longer for packages to get to where they need to go.

So, start thinking and getting things together.....

I'd like to do this again. Took off last year, to many other commitmeents. This is always fun. Thank You for organizing again.

I will be there!!! Have dropped out on most of the swaps this year but am ready for this one. It is fun and very suspenseful when your package arrives and you have to wait days to weeks to open it. It is well worth it tho.

I love Secret Santa! I don't like there is a limit though. I like to splurge!

I've been looking for the sign up again. Woo Hoo, I had so much fun last year.

I'm not sure where it will be put, but will let everyone know once it switches

There is a limit because like you, others like to splurge, whereas others cannot. So, to keep feelings from not getting hurt, there has to be a limit. But...now if you buy something on sale for like $1 and it's actually worth $10, then your package still has $19 to go. If you happen to go over a bit, that's fine, but we don't want people to get $1000's worth of something and then someone else getting what they would say is "next to nothing". Have actually had that happen, so this is the reason why there is a limit.

my sister and i were only talking about it recently. Cant wait. I buys lots of things through out the year when i see them on sale, keeps me under the $20. and this year i have something extra special to send, hope i get someone who likes bags..... ops i've said to much, forgot those elves are watching!

OH!!!! I am soooo excited. Last year was my first one, and it was a blast! All you newbies will absolutely love it, the chats and preparations are almost as fun as "Reveal Day". Just remember guys, I will be baking cookies again! LOL
