I just finished sewing a quilt top with many HST and used the Angler 2 and never marked any of the blocks. Just tape the Angler 2 on your machine, works like a charm. Love it.

Love this! I have it in two sizes. So much easier than trimming 4 sides!

I use the wondercut ruler, It is fast, fun and easy, you can cut a whole strip(WOF) of HST with just 2 seams. see web site for inst. it also has other uses. http://www.wondercutruler.com/ruler.html good luck

Hi! I think I posted that. Seems like a year or more ago! I do use tape on my machine bed - red for the 1/4" and green right down the center for diagonals. Now I can't find it! I use the "stitch to both side of the center line" method and often do 2, 4 or 8 HSTs at once. It is easier with a marked line, especially when it comes to cutting them "apart".

But I do find that the taped lines are very helpful in general! Hope this helps.

wow love this one! so easy and accurate. Thanks!

The other way you can do it without marking is to match up two squares right sides together, fold in half on the diagonal, press the seam, open them up and sew 1/4" on both sides of the fold. No marking needed.

Try Brenda Henning's Triangulation 3.0 CD. It has sizes from 7/16" to & 7". It's similar to "Thangles", but a lot more sizes.
