This is a link to an LED light strip for sewing machines on Amazon that some people were talking about in a group I'm in. I saved it because I'm interested in it as well. The people that bought them for their machines were really pleased with them.

Thanks for sharing this. I'll be ordering on the future!

Tom,

I realize you're in Canada but here in the US, I can get bayonet style LED bulbs for sewing machines at Ace Hardware or TrueValue or whatever its name is. They're about $10 US. Have one in my Singer 15, one in my FW and the 301 will receives hers when next she comes out to play. Huge difference in the lighting with the LED bulb plus I'm not burning my arm or back of hand on an LED light.

I looked all over for Led lights . I though even if i had to rewire the machine it would have been worth it .But all the lighting store up here have nothing that I could work with even went to Car parts store. So i,ll wait and hope the light strip works .

I'll hope with you that the light strip works. I just know I'm thrilled to finally have LED bulbs for my sewing machines. Mine are vintage and use the bayonet style. Have no idea if newer ones still use that style or not.

A few of my friends like the light from IKEA. They rave about it all the time. We don't have one near us, but I'm thinking of taking a road trip. The also have a rolling cart at IKEA,with bins that they all use and keep their supplies in.
