My Singer sewing machine has a needle threader. I love it. Can`t imagine being without it.It`s been in use for 4 years.

This works for me also. I shouldn't try to do things late at night! What works for me is wetting your finger, rubbing the back of the needle. Then the thread will slip in. Good night!

This is very similar to the needle threader that came with my Imagine Wave. I use it on any machine that doesn't have an automatic threader.

I would place a light colored piece of paper (white or off white) behind the needle as you thread it. It helps one to see the eye of the needle better.

other machines the threader never works right.

I clip an LED light onto the cabinet which helps me see more clearly,.

I couldn't thread the needle without the white paper behind the needle. Makes a big difference.

I have come up with a solution for threading needles. I bought a pair of magnified reading glasses. Your needle is twice as big and you don't have to worry about looking over the line on your bifocals. My machine self threader works but sometimes I have to be persistant. (if you know what I mean) So, I use my prescription glasses to walk to my sewing room, then set them in a safe place (the same everytime you sew)and slip on the reading glasses to use for sewing and for threading that doggone needle. :)

I agree with you Linda, I find it a lot easier and faster doing it myself than the one on my machine.

Someone may have already said this - and I haven't read the entire thread. Pfaff has a VERY inexpensive threader for sale that works beautifully on any machine. It comes with their sergers - but they sell it, too.
