Thanks for the info. I too, have been looking at these and wondering if they were worth the money.

You can buy mini vacuums. Amazon has them.

I have the vacuum attachments & love them. I attach them to a hand held vacuum instead of hauling my big vac to my sewing room. I was told by the fellow that services my machine to never use a compressor to blow the lint out because it gets blown into the innards of machines.

many many years ago, i bought a kit to vacuum my computer parts... i rarely use it for the same reason... getting out the big vacuum. i'll have to look into a smaller dedicated vacuum. i clean out my long arm with a long handled artist's brush... works pretty good

interesting thread. I too have been looking. I bought a hand held at a resale shop that works but does not get all the lint. I will look into these attachments.

Yes, they work. Do Not use air to blow out lint. What you wind up doing is sending lint and dirt, etc, into the heart of the sewing machine. Then it's a trip to the sewing machine dealer to fix the problems blowing air into your machine causes.

I have 2 sets of these they work really well.

I have put a piece of panty hose over the hose and use the regular attachements, but it is next to impossible to get in some areas, will look for this attachment. I have central vac, so it would be easy to attach to hose, ideally when I vacuum the carpet, I could do the machine, too.

I too bought what Peckish did at Harbour Frt. works like a charm
