Thank you I wish you could. I could use the lessons. I'm kind of new to all this and mostly just play.

Carol, your cottage looks grand, how I would love to have a place like that. That will be a true get away.

It looks like it took alot of work, but wow, the results are wonderful. Have fun sewing and creating.

Thank you, I'm hoping to get another usable room before long.

Humidity and darkness is the bigest enemy of fabic because mildew loves them both. Cloth curtains would be better to cover your material. Heater and air conditioner shouldn't do any damage at all. Aren't you the lucky one to have not just a room of ones' own but a whole house!!!!!!!

I heat my whole house (two story) with wood heat. We have duct work going into all the rooms and a contraption that my husband built to circulate the heat to the rooms. I have no trouble. BUT we do keep a large pot of water on the wood stove the whole time it is in use, keeps some moisture in the air.

My craft room is also cooled by a window ac unit. No problems at all.

I agree with some of the others, cover the fabric with fabric, not clear vinyl. I think the vinyl might spot the fabric.

Can't wait to see it all done.

Thank you, as you can see from the last pictures I used sheers to cover my 3 bookcases and so far no problem. I sure will be glad when it's all done.

On page 11 are updated pictures. I used a gas heater in the sewing room. Seems to be working out okay and I did use sheers on the bookcases so I can also see thru them. I've been working to clear out another room so it can be painted.
