That 68 Husky is a beaut!!

I like equating my machines to cars.

The Janome 6600 is a Lambo - fast, pretty, technical and finicky. She likes things "just so".
The Husky is a Volvo - it will get you where ever you want to go, through anything, but it aint much to look at.
The 83 Kenmore is a VW Bug - basic people mover. It goes forward and backward and will do it all day long.
The Singer Treadle is a Dusenburg "barn find" - she aint running yet but the potential is there.
The Brother embroidery machine is a MG Roadster - she's only good for bright sunny days when you want to look "mahvelous"

With the 7700 and using the 1/4 inch foot it does not like going over bumps. The new 1/4 inch foot was to take care of that but it does not. Other then that I love my 7700.

Love it! And I feel like I need some driving lessons for the 7700!

Wow that is a beautiful Viking. Sooo Pretty.
I almost bought the Horizon, but when testing it it did the balking over a seam intersection, and the 6600 did not.
When I went back to pick up my ordered 6600 my friend tried out the Horizon and guess what the tech had come in and adjusted the feed dogs and it was fine. So I think they at the factory have been setting the feeddogs a wee bit to low.
Now I wish I bought the mega 11 inch harp space. Oh well! maybe not ment to be. lol.... I love my 6600 it is such a great machine.

Try having the dealers tech adjust your feed dogs. It will help nabobw.

The 1/4 stitch foot on the Acufeed isn't as accurate though, I've found. Plus you have to have the needle position at 5.5
