Now that's funny! The last time my bobbin ran out I actually said aloud "now how did that happen"? No one answered.... but that is good because I don't think I am ready for a sewing machine that talks back!

Oh yeah, on the longarm no less. When using a pantograph you are watching the little laser light, not the quilt....I quilted an entire row once with no bobbin thread....that is when it is time for a break! My Viking 875 reminds me, wish the longarm did!

I just hate when that happens. My Brother beeps when the bobbin is runing out or if the upper thread breaks or runs out. Needless to say that is the one I use for all my piecing :-) But I use my Pfaff to quilt ( it has a 10 inch throat) and it does not have this feature. Odd isn't it that my little $300 Brother has this feature but the $1500 Pfaff doesn't.

My Pfaff shows a picture of the bobbin when it is getting low. When you ladies talk about yor favorite sewing machines, seldom do I see anyone mention Pfaff. This is my second one and I love it.

My Bernina makes a clicking sound when I run out of bobbin thread. Thank goodness it does that!
