So glad I can say I am a member of the barefoot sewing club!!! Thanks ladies for including me.
I get dressed every morning and that includes shoes. I don't notice I have them on. I never ask anyone to take shoes off unless really muddy or wet. No carpet to worry about so the floors are easy to keep clean. I've been to some homes that I'm asked to take off shoes and my socks get dirty from the floors or I feel 'grit' on my bare feet. That I can't stand. If you want people to take off shoes in your house, have clean floors.

My shoes are on. But that is a cute story.

When I sewed in school i had shoes on but now I like to sew barefoot I can feel the foot peddle better
Bare feet for sure!

Bare foot for me, no matter where I am. Home, taking a class or when I worked in the costume dept at the local university:)
Count me as shoeles sewer
barefoot here too, sometimes I hobble but most times both shoes are off.... :-)
When I use my Featherweight I take my shoe off or I can't find the button on the foot control. When I'm at home I'm usually barefoot, much more comfortable.
