I wish I could do it with out a pattern! Ii would be nice if yo would share the pattern when you get it down pat!

janiesews 03-24-2012 05:41 AM

Keep going - very pretty.

Elainequilts 03-24-2012 05:45 AM

Keep going and show us more pictures.

great aunt jacqui 03-24-2012 06:36 AM

definately keep going. make this the practice piece.

nhweaver 03-24-2012 06:41 AM

Keep going, great job creating this from a picture. If the colors don't suit you, finish it as a gift. what colors would you do in the "keeper"?

carolynjo 03-24-2012 07:10 AM

I'd say keep going also.

solstice3 03-24-2012 07:14 AM

petlover 03-24-2012 07:36 AM

This was my thought when I saw it in the catalog. I am probably doing it wrong based on directions but who cares as long as it comes out looking the same.

If you are pleased with the look, as most of us are, to heck with the catalog.

Not everyone has a lot of experience as you have. Patterns are great for telling inexperienced quilters what size to make all the pieces.

Experience is not the issue. It's simply seeing squares and triangles laid out as you like. Graph paper does the calculations.

brewsa 03-24-2012 10:15 AM

Looks wonderful! Keep going!

linhawk 03-24-2012 10:25 AM

I like it. In fact I copied your pic. No need to buy a pattern if you can duplicate it yourself. I'm with you.

sharin'Sharon 03-24-2012 11:13 AM

My vote says to keep on going because it's a job well done already, even if it is with the use of scraps. Thanks for sharing and will look forward to seeing your next project.

ktmo815 03-24-2012 01:32 PM

I like it even with your "scraps"

caspharm 03-24-2012 04:38 PM

Your scrappy version is looking good. Keep going!

Sewnique 03-24-2012 07:07 PM

I would most definitely finish it! Looks good and no one would know you did not have the pattern.

jaciqltznok 03-24-2012 07:37 PM

I just took the class to do the Labyrinth and you are close, though not exact.
it is NOT all HST and blocks...that is just the illusion!
the only requirement for this pattern is the one thing you DO have...HIGH contrast!

kittiebug 03-25-2012 12:28 AM

Yes , keep going you are all most there . Looks good *** :)

Mkotch 03-25-2012 03:09 AM

I've seen this quilt made up in green batiks - gorgeous!

twinkie 03-25-2012 04:19 AM

I didn't look at all the posts, but does anyone know the name of the block or pattern? Very nice. I like it

justflyingin 03-25-2012 04:30 AM

Definitely, keep going. It's really nice!

k9dancer 03-25-2012 07:05 AM

You are practically done; why wouldn't you finish it?

chuckbere15 03-25-2012 09:56 AM

I would keep going. It looks great. Can't wait to see what it looks like without your scraps.

Bergereink 03-25-2012 12:29 PM

Yes, it's wonderful. Take a pic of it and try to see what it will look like in multiples. Just so that you know how the blocks will look next to each other. Many computer programs can help you with this...even just Word or Pages

sewnsewer2 03-25-2012 12:34 PM

Keep going, I like it!

irenecarter 03-25-2012 12:47 PM

Keep going.

Grandma Cindy 03-26-2012 03:07 PM

Amazing to me that you can produce it without the pattern, i had to buy the pattern and still haven't taken the plunge. You are doing a great job...

SEWING ADDICT 03-28-2012 12:12 PM

Yes, Keep going. I would like the pattern. Where do I get it?
