should i keep going question
1 Attachment(s)
I saw a "new" pattern that I wanted to test out before i cut into my good fabric so I am using scraps for it. I was wondering if I should keep going or not. what do you guys think? I attached a pic of it so far. I don't have a pattern for it but it is a labyrinth pattern I saw in a fabric catalog. that is why i thought i would try it out first with scraps so i could test the size of the blocks. what do you guys think? should i keep going? there is another round of blocks that I would need to do to finish it.

It looks good to me - nice looking scraps. Do you not like working with the pattern?
definitely keep going. obviously the "scrappy" will make a nice table topper!
I love it and love your scraps......yes keep going!
yes yes yes pls finish. you put the work into it and it is wonderful.
I'd keep going! You'll have a really nice little quilt, and be able to use some of your scraps in the process.
Yes finish it is real pretty!
absotootley keep going!
Looks like a nice spring quilt or table topper or wall hanging or baby quilt or or or?
You've gone that far, so why not finish it up? And then onwards to your "real" fabric, once you have the "practice" one done! Have you decided what you're going to put in the centre yet? |
Love it! Keep it going.
I am just putting the green fabric of the points in the center. I am just wondering if I should finish it up here or continue with the next round of squares. Thanks for the comments. I can't wait to start the next one in this pattern. It is going to be in batiks.
the medium blue could be more medium. it doesn't contrast quite enough but keep going. that is a great pattern
If you feel that you have the pattern figured out with what you've done already, you could just finish it and it would be a very nice wall hanging or throw as it is, if you don't want to add another round of blocks, you wouldn't need to.
i would definitely keep going. you're doing a great job... can't believe you don't have a pattern :)
Yes, keep going. Your good stuff is brighter probably and it will be really pretty. As this one is. I don't see how you can just look at a pattern and do it. I can hardly have a pattern and do it.ha.
keep sewing!

There's not a lot of contrast but remember this is just a sample to see if she really likes the pattern. |

It's simple squares and triangles. Why use a pattern? |
Keep going....
Keep going. It looks great
I absolutely love stars!! I love your fabric. Do you have more of it or do you have to use different fabric for the next block? I would at least make a runner out of this, at the least. If it were me, I would go ahead and make a quilt out of it. You seem like you know what you are doing.

Absolutely! It looks wonderful! :)
I really like it!
I would finish your "scrap" one that is pictured just as it is,with the center block, of course, and move on to your "good fabric" this will be a good little table topper or candle mat or wall hanging, depending on the size. You have done very well so far!
Looks great from here. Definitely finish and post pics for us. Scrappy fabrics look good in this.
If you think you have it figured out, then do the one you have planned and come back and make another using scraps. It would make a great scrappy.

Definitely keep going! I must say, you have awfully nice scraps...
oh a sample. of course, then it works well so go ahead and make one "for real". I love that pattern.
Do keep going! Please show pics when it is finished! Like your fabrics used too~
Very nice, I actually made one from a pattern.
Go for it. The scraps are working wonderful for you. Then do it with the "real" fabric and put the pictures on for us to see please.
I have done that before. Keep going, you will be glad you did. It is sort of like a free extra quilt. Yours makes a great
table topper. |
I have finished two of the Labyrinth quilts. One is for my quilt partner in Australia. If you go to the search box and type in Quilt Swap Spoiler for Lynnie25, you'll see that one. As a matter of fact, my other is on my bed right now! ENjoy your process, I really enjoy putting them together.<!-- END TEMPLATE: navbar_link -->

It's very pretty. I'd keep going if I were you.
Wow..I love it...keep going....it's going to be a keeper...
You have done this much work, you might as well finish it or you've wasted time and fabric! If you don't want it when it's finished, I know a place you could find someone to adopt it. ;o)
very nice,keep going !
