Will I ever finish? It remains to be seen.

yes, I have seen that grid interfacing too. It is called quiltsmart or something like that. A lot of LQS carry it. I, myself have not used it. It does add another layer, so when quilting time comes there is more bulk there.....It is also available for Dresden Plate and probably more patterns.

I have quite a few 2 1/2" blocks cut from my accuquilt. I would be happy to send you some so that you have some that are differant from your stash. Maybe a few others would like to also. At least that way you have a few more squares. Thanks for your offer. Sending you a PM. |
I'm doing the 1 1/2 inch swap. I so little at a time. It's kind of stressful doing all the little squares.

Check out ebay item number 250849103174. The description says this vintage quilt was made of 1" squares! When I saw this I though of you and your PS quilt. I wondered if you might want to use this setting for your PS quilt. This quilt uses 8 squares x 8 squares for an 8" block; then she used a solid white 8" square for every other block. You could make your blocks whatever size you want and then repeat the size square with a solid of any color, or white or black. It would make a very striking quilt and still stay with the vintage look, but you would finish in half the time. Check it out and let me know what you think. Jan

I, too, could send you some 2" squares if you want more. Jan
