Love your quilt. Such a nice combination of colors to make it "move." I have no advice for the type of quilting you should use though...

In response to the quilt as you go log Cabin Quilt. Here is a link to the book I used. Quite simple for a beginner-- trust me:) Name of book is Weekend Log Cabin Quilts by Marti Michell.
http://www.amazon.com/Weekend-Cabin-.../dp/0881953490 I didn't do it in a weekend.-- But did finish it in 30 days-- working on it here and there. ( not solid) I loved the results! |
What a beautiful quilt. I always do stitch in the ditch.

That is so pretty. My first true quilt was a LC and I never had it quilted because the more I looked at it the less I liked the color choices. Sure wish I had went with colors more neutral (mine is pinks and purples). I'll post it someday when I'm brave.

Your quilt is beautiful. I love your color choices. Please show us when you get it finished! Thanks for sharing!

My first quilt was also a Log Cabin. I finished it by stitching in the ditch and then the feathers on the four corners. It is fantastic if I say so myself! Be proud, yours is out of this world.

It is a lovely quilt! And it goes well with that rug that is underneath it. Looks like you have a color scheme going on. And don't you love that this group will post a link that will help you with your decision? I never am quite sure where to look but someone always chimes in with the link. So, I like the feather idea also but anything curvy would be good to contrast with all the straight lines.

Hand quilt in the ditch, it makes it as beautiful on the back as it is on the front. It will not take anything away from the pattern. Happy quilting.
